You can buy gold or silver via two payment types–cash balance and credit / debit card.
Read on to learn how you can transact using these methods.
PAYMENT TYPE 1: CASH BALANCE
Step 1
On the dashboard, click on the "Buy & Sell" action button.
Step 2
On the Buy & Sell form, select and fill in following:
Transaction Type: Buy
Precious Metal Type: Gold or Silver
Value (USD) or Amount (ozt)
Payment type: Cash balance
By default, you can key in the Value (USD). If you would like to buy using the Amount (ozt) instead, click on the Value's "USD" dropdown menu and select "ozt". Then fill in the amount accordingly.
Note: For Amount (ozt), you can only key in a maximum of 7 decimal places.
Step 3
The confirmation details will appear. Click the "Proceed" button if all details are accurate, or click "Cancel" if changes need to be made.
Note: The spot price refreshes to the latest price every 15 seconds and will auto update all the details accordingly. You may refer to the spot price refresh timer for the countdown.
Congratulations, you have purchased precious metals!
The purchase will be reflected in the transaction History on your dashboard, and the amount and value will be updated in your Account Balance.
PAYMENT TYPE 2: CREDIT CARD
Step 1
On the dashboard, click on the "Buy & Sell" action button.
Step 2
On the Buy & Sell form, select and fill in following:
Transaction Type: Buy
Precious Metal Type: Gold or Silver
Value
Payment type: Credit / debit card
Note: Option to key in amount (ozt) is only available for buying via cash balance.
Step 3
The confirmation details along with the credit/debit card authorisation form will appear.
Fill up the details.
Then, click the "Proceed" button if all details are accurate, or click "Cancel" if changes need to be made.
